Just for fun.... |
Did you know that your teacher was a "military brat" (my stepfather was in the Air Force) and used to live on a little island in the Pacific Ocean? We were stationed at Anderson AFB, Guam from 1984-1986. Find out more about this island I called home here. Guam is "where America's day begins". Why do people say this? How did I lose a day in 1984 and get it back again in 1986? How did Guam become part of the United States? (We will learn about this in class but why wait? Look it up!)
